Im very seriously thinking about thinning out my collection and concentrating on Westinghouse...across the board, not just vacuums, but all appliances....do you guys think ive gone crazy....I have so much stuff that I never touch, I think It might be fun to specialize like John Long does with Hoover....the nib Westinghouse Carousel I bought got me to thinking....what do you all think???

I know very little about Westinghouse, but I believe if it is what you are most passionate about then it is great to throw all the resources you can behind that collection. I find myself doing that with Electrolux more and more- selling other brand vacuums in order to get more Lux stuff. Best wishes!

Personally, I think it's
a great idea. It makes thing simpler, a nd yet, it "broadens your "collectable" scope. You'd be amazed at what you could find.

Hi Kenkart.
If you want a good home for that Electrolux CA, let me know it's one of my 'must have' machines.
We'll talk more after Christmas, but it's the only thing I really want, and I've wanted one since I first saw one as a child of about 12. I almost got one but it slipped through my fingers.

8) Swapping parts among similar or identical machines would be a higher likelihood with the potential of saving you money overall

I think that's a great idea! Westinghouse is such an iconic brand, with a diverse line of consumer, commercial, and industrial products. I love the idea of collecting and therefore preserving an important part of American history.
