My Celebrity is back!!!

Always great to see good friends. Chris and I have been talking for an exchange of my Hoover Celebrity and a few parts. He got paid, I got parts, not sure who gets the better end there?? JT and Mark happened to be around today. Scott brought a Kirby that looks Brand New out of the box. Absolutely gorgeous machine and I'm not a Kirby fan. Dinner was great!! Chicken Parmesan is one of my favorite entrees.

Thanks for the hospitality John. It was very nice though brief visit with all. Good to see John and Joe as they've both had a very rough few months. Continued prayers and blessings to both as well as Kevin and Greg and they each move past and recuperate mentally and physically from various tragedies!! Just another reason why even on short notice events like this are so beneficial!!

My end has been very hectic here. I have friends trying to recruit me to Rainbow and I've been impressed with the Rainbows performance. Meanwhile Filter Queen has submitted quite an offer to keep me on the team. It's been a debate of whether to go with great offered opportunity vs. which I feel is a better product with near unlimited capability?? Rainbow claims I'll make great money with all they offer but my boat is different because it means switching over from my achievements and rapport built up with distributorship management.

Thanks, everyone.

Yes, it was greatto see my old friends, and to meet a new vac member.
That hood WILL be onits way shortly.
You all know Christmas can be a rough time. It certainly was here. Not going into too much detail, headaches are now almost a daily companion....... PLUS, I had an envelope in my mailslot of my front door. They are photos of ME! Someone has been documenting my comings and goings. Can you believe that?
It was great to hear friends laughing and talking in the house. It's beengreat to share good times and a meal too. NOW, the holiday trimmings can come down. Life WILL get better. I hope.
Glad you liked the pics. It was nice to have 2 of the late Terry's vacuums together again.

John- So glad to have you back! I don't post very often on here but I always enjoy your posts! I too have been very worried about you. Just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Here's hoping 2014 is better for you!

Best wishes,
Aaron Smith

Prayer has been a huge thing around here, as well.

Nebver underestimate the power of it. (Excedrin, too). It's wonderful to really know one has friends. It's equally distressing and disapponting to discover that some, whom you think care about you, really don't. Huge lesson learned there, too.
I lined 'that staircase' again, this time, w/ vacuums that haven't "been out" in a while. I was roaming through some spare rooms......... it was fun to rediscover some great finds. New visitor, from NY, "Scott" just stared at that staircase in disbelief. That's always fun.................

Thanks for getting back to me on that!

No pressure on the hood, I just wanted o finish restoring my convertible, just as long as I get it. I hope to meet you some day, you sound very fun to be around! :)

Hi gottahaveahoove

I'm sorry to hear about the problems, I'll keep the prayers going for you. By the way, if you are suffering from migraines, welcome to my world. Excedrin migraine is almost everyday for me. I also get 'cluster headaches,' and now, with this bitter cold, body aches. I hate getting old!

You and I will talk when you feel up to it, and know that I'm a mouse click away if you need me. I'm so glad you're safe, I was really concerned.

John,

I haven't posted here in awhile and didn't know you were gone. It's good to see you back and view all the pics of your fun gathering. It looks like everyone had a great time. You always host the best parties!

Hope 2014 is a much better year for you.

All the best,

Patrick

Yes we all had such a great time!! Really good to calm down after some rough times. The picture envelope John discovered is like a disbelief! Ridiculous what this moron is getting into causing problems, no wonder John has headaches!!! I'd have one if I received that in my front door. I did receive several headaches and horror from another source over the past few months which is hopefully now put to bed! Best wishes and prayers to you- you know who you are, as I try to live past all of the terrible lies, deceit and hounding you've done to many of us.

Welcome back to my house the fixed up machine below. Original in great shape with all attachments, badges, stickers and even the headlight lense was on it from Bill Wood. Now Chris has gone through it with a new motor bearing, new front canister wheel, handle release repair, cleanup, tune up, new brush roll, new bottom plate, hose repair as it was starting some stress tears at the handle connection, a switch over from a 3 piece wand set to a 2. This was my idea, I know it's not original to the model but I like the 2 piece with curved top wand better than 3 wands. It sounds amazing. My parents had this model growing up but by the time I was old enough to see, the power nozzle had been replaced with a Guardsman power head. I never had the chance growing up to run this machine with a power head and honestly when I was younger I thought the suction unit was too loud. But since then, now seeing the machine again and using it, I really enjoy using it. Thanks Chris for such a great job. Next time I know you'll do a great job on some of John's machine in need and also Joe Kassocks power nozzles!!

Rob,

That was one FAB cleaner to run. And, I'm not really a cannister guy, but, that was like running a Convertible! That Convertible Elite Decade 800 wannabe was just as great. You could maintain THe White House with that vacuum...all 126 rooms!

Yes, stress, depression, anxiety and that darn "spot in the back of my head" have kept Excedrin in business. I now can take my pulse, or feel the pulse there when I cough or sneeze. Isn't that a 'comfort"? Not getting "that haircut" any time soon, though.
WE compared a new Portapower with a vintage Swingwette. HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THE NEW "dusting brush" and crevice tool are better?? They're TOYS!!!!!! But, I have 2 of them. Well, one must have symmetry........... right? And, the HOOVER logo is samller than an Aspirin!!!!!

Sounds like a plan

It was GREAT to hear you laughing again.. and NOT at my picture, lolol. Aren't those meets "fun"? Thanks for bringing Terry's Convertible, too. Feel free to leave it here..................but be sure to take your "Eureeeka" home each time.Had to get out the "big guns" later the next day. HOOVER Guardsman!!
