So tonight for vacuuming, I decided to give our Rainbow the night off and use a different vacuum. I narrowed it down to my Olympia One, a Super J, or my Perfect C101. I ended up choosing the Perfect just to change it up a little. It has a new bag in it, I changed the hose to the vinyl one from the Olympia One, grabbed an Electrolux flip over floor tool, the Perfect power nozzle and set to work.

All I can say is WOW! It has been probably a year or more since I've used this machine and I have to say this thing is stupidly powerful! The air rushing through those nozzles was unbelievable! I was just floored at how good it cleaned! Don't get me wrong, as an allergy sufferer, my rainbow is heaven-sent, but I swear I think this thing pulled more out of my area rugs than the rainbow! It was actually fun vacuuming tonight, not the typical mundane chore it usually is!!

A closer view.....

Here's a closer shot of the machine, you can definitely see the resemblance between this and an older metal Electrolux.

Awesome vac

I know how you feel... I love my rainbow, but my other vacs do a great job too (especially my 'Luxes). I don't have the newer models, like the Olympia, but my tanks are really quiet and powerful. I love using them! And I love that flip-over floor tool, too. My Electrolux L and F models are my bare floor go-to vacs because they're so awesome and easy to use. I think you had a similar experience with the ones you own... Hmm, now it looks like I need to get a newer model, too! One can never have too many, right?!

perfect vacuum

The perfect canister is awesome. I have it as well. It has the same design as the older metal electrolux canisters, but the motor is much more powerful, it uses an Ametek motor similar to the ones used in central vacuums. I don't know for sure, but I think it may even be a two stage motor, in any case, this is an awesome canister vacuum, one I have no problem recommending.
