You've got a funny idea about what "mint" means.

Mint condition means "fresh out of the box" condition.

I see dirt, scuff marks and a worn brushroll. Hardly "mint".

Well, it's true. When people say 'mint'

condition, they usually mean "like right out of the box". Some might describe an item as 'nearly mint' condition. That would mean a few scuffs, etc. A HOOVER vault machine, for example, might be listed as 'mint' condition. A vacuum that was hardly ever used, (put in the closet for years), might be described as 'nearly mint condition'. "Like new".

I've gotten machines on ebay that looked like they were never ever used. I have a Concept posted in my "gallery" thread in Vintage. When I took that thing out of the box, I gasped...it looked PERFECT. I'd call that, 'mint condition'.

Mine is unfaded but has a crack next to the hole at the top side where it secures on to the main body

DA001 Cyclone

Hi

Wow 1000, i thought i was bad with my DA001, DC01, DC05, DC07 and V6 total clean : )

DC05 and DC07 are both brand new in the box and have never been used, the DA001 and DC01 have both been used less than 10 times as i always had other vacs to use, now i am just Dyson and the V6 get used most as i have wood/tiled floors downstairs and its great for the car. I used to use a Miele Hybrid just for the car had 3 of them (not at the same time) and each failed. Never had a problem with a Dyson but then again i am very careful : )
