Aerus/Electrolux
I thought I posted about this but maybe it didn’t go through.
Have had Electrolux since I was first introduced to a vacuum as a toddler as it’s what my Mom and both Grandmotherks had...been hard pressed to find anything I like any better...nothing seems to ever surpass it for me, but a few have come close.
If for regular use would have to be my Aerus Lux Legacy I recently acquired, a very light blue with medium blue trim...the 2003-2008 series. It’s the newest and least used and best condition of all of my vacuums and hasn’t been rebuilt or anything. It’s complete with everything that came with it and also has the flip over rug and floor tool in addition which was not standard. It was lightly used mostly with the single sided floor tool as that shows the most use. It appears it may have even been serviced by Aerus for checkups, came with 47 genuine bags and appears previous owner only used genuine bags in it...bag compartment is spotless inside on the day I got it and the outside was in excellent condition as well, most everything else is virtually unused including the power nozzle and sidekick.
Very versatile and easy to use for any and all cleaning needs and easy to push, self adjusting height, goes under furniture, cleans the car, doesn’t eat belts, converts to attachments in seconds.
Though I do love the more traditional Aerus Electrolux hose and wand system so I might have to add to it with a Lux Classic hose and set of metal wands and attachments too to make it universal to satisfy my love for my traditional Electrolux handle/wand style over the plastic wand system. Would this be considered cheating though? I’d still only have the one main canister unit...Just two hoses and sets of attachments.
For collecting...my Electrolux XXX which my Grandmother bought new when my Father was a kid. I’m the third generation to have it as it got passed on to my Father’s sister but I asked for it when she passed away.
