And---KIRBY-PSE come out with your new model!!!The sales of the Sentria are going flat-been out too long.the only high end DTD vac suppliers in my area are Rainbow and Aerus-and they are hanging by a string.Kirby,Filter Queen,vortech,TriStar are gone-don't know if the Kinston TriStar dealer is still with us.

That's why every single TriStar A101 (EXL, MG & CS Series) that come into my shop for repair that have the VM3 single-stage motors get replaced with Ametek #115923 high-performance motors. With the Ametek 115923 motor in the A101 TriStars, there is a BIG difference in airflow & suction.

In my area these have closed: Selden, NY, Riverhead, NY & Manhasset, NY. That's three stores in less than a few years. Miele has been doing well here, and Sebo.

but the kirby sentria IS the 100th anniversary model kirby

The sentria came out about 7 years ago. I'm pretty sure that Kirby is about to come out with a major redesign of their vacuum, simply because Kirby is following a similar pattern to their 1970-1990 releases.
