Ian looking for Miele electro small power head motor

I am looking to buy the small motor for my Miele power head. The motor is a small 120 volt. I cannot afford a new vacuum and this one works great . If anyone might be willing to suggest as to where I might be able to purchase one I would greatly appreciate as my local dealer is asking over a hundred dollars. Thank you!

Over $100 for a new motor? That dealer sounds crazy! Have you tried looking for a used motor on eBay? Everybody on this site will have you try eBay first, it's the Wal-Mart for used stuff, they sell everything and anything! Welcome, by the way!

If its one for the SEB213 - SEB217, I can get you one for under $100, but you'd have to pay the shipping..

Keep in mind that typical pn motors cost dealers around 19-40 bucks, those are for motors that are used in a lot of machines... Miele makes their own motors... they charge a premium for them.

Also, how old is this machine? Miele comes with a 7 year housings / 7 year motor warranty...
