I think this one nearly made the FedEx man keel over.

A few weeks ago, my dear friend Brandon said he had a surprise for me and asked for my address. After much poking, prodding, and prying, I finally got him to tell me that the surprise was a NIB set of Hoover Concept One attachments. Feeling very lucky and happy, I gave him the address, and waited.

When I received the email from FedEx yesterday that the package had been shipped, I almost sh** a cinderblock upon seeing that the box weighed nearly 70 pounds! I said to myself, "Self, HOW does a set of attachments weigh that much?!"

This morning, I was sitting in the living room watching television when the FedEx truck pulled up the street. Picture it. Fat, balding delivery guy huffing and puffing as he schleps a gigantic box up the front walkway to the porch. I thought the poor devil would collapse on the spot!

The pictures will do some more explaining.

Eureka

Nice Eureka vacuum. We had me like that years ago. Great little vacuum. It came from KMart in the late 1980s. Ours had the wooden brushroll. I always wished it had the metal one. What model number is it? I may have to start searching for one.

Jon: Jeez...has to be somewhere in the 60-75 range! (I am OUT OF ROOM!)

Will: I love the color too! I can't wait to get it all cleaned up and give it good mechanical treatment too.

Tim: The Eureka is a Model 630, indeed a K-Mart model from the 80s. Mine has the wooden brushroll too.
