I think this is vintage, a Casio Phonemate built Kenmore bagless upright

I've tried one of those out at Sears before, felt heavy to push from what I remembered. The one next to it that was similar called the Stylite felt better, so that was what my step aunt bought. She later returned it because she wasn't all that impressed. I have one of the bagged Progressive models, got this because one of my neighbors has or had one before and I loved it despite it's flaws. Actually I tried to convince my aunt to get one of those after she returned the Stylite but she went ahead and bought a new old stock Hoover Windtunnel Supreme (which she also returned later after sharing my dislikes about it with her). I think those were about as close as you could get to a Dirt Devil that were branded as a Kenmore since they shared some similar parts and designs.

I had one that I got from a local flea market, and lost it in a basement flood a few years ago. I would say that model was ok, but I liked my direct drive much better. That model has the highest handle release pedal I’ve seen. The clutch was also a bit strange to use. It felt much like an older Dyson to use, but not as smooth. I never got the dirt searcher to work on my model, and the rubber was starting to peel.
