Yay! I was right.

I am quite fascinated with these early kenmores.

Someone on Craigslist emailed me with one for sale locally. They are asking $250 for it though, which is out of my price range.

A little newer than yours. Maybe 8-10 years newer?

Definitely a kenmore! Must have been a deluxe model.

Its missing the tag near the bullet nose that would have said Kenmore.

There is a guy in town who turns these machines into art. Like space ships, jet packs and so much more!

YAY!!!!!!

You can ship it when ever you're ready......no super hurry.

Well the yellow and black box is Obviously the Ghost trap. :P

That is really an ingenious creation! My little brother was Venkman one year for Halloween.

I was thinking of getting a Kenmore commander from a local vacuum shop, however I realized it would probably be too heavy and large for him to carry. So I made the box using some UPS box, painting it, and sticking a kirby hose out the side. Was really cute!
My mom had sewn an entire one piece uniform for him too, with little patches and stuff from ebay.

Commander

I DO HOPE that wasn't made into "art:..I have been looking for that one for years, It is indeed a Kenmore, But the first ones were called Commander Imperials, the Kenmore name was not on them, the detachable cord dates it to just before WW2 I believe, of course a Birtman product, This one is hard to find!!!
