Yes

If you like it.
I don't prefer orecks but you went to the store and obviously liked it enough to ask us. I'm thinking you just need a little more of a nudge.
If price is good get it.

If it's a cheap price, sure. They are very simplistic and don't really work well on medium to high pile carpet. They are great for low pile carpet and area rugs though. I got all mine at Goodwill or got lucky with eBay auctions and found ones with cheap shipping.

If you can afford it and like that Oreck, I’d say YES Buy it!

I really enjoy my 5 Oreck vacuums and they are fun vacuums.

When it’s in my budget to buy any vacuum, even if I don’t “need” it but think I’d get some enjoyment out of buying it.. I just get it!

Have fun and please let us know and see pics if you device to buy this Oreck. ;-)

Maybe

I've found Orecks to be respectable machines. They aren't like the deepest cleaners but I think they are around the level of like top performance bagless machines.
If you've not owned one before I'd be more inclined to go with a yes, so that you can experience one for yourself.

Could you share some more details about this machine? A model? Features? what are they asking for it? If you're willing to shop around you can often find 2nd hand ones for decent prices I've purchased Oreck uprights for as little as $20.

Too Loud for Europe

Yeah, Orecks are loud, in fact, they are too loud under EU regulations. In addition to limiting power consumption to 900 watts (which Oreck can meet with no difficulty), they limit the noise to 80 dB (not sure of the weighting). I know from some YouTube vids that the commercial XL variant is 91dB (likely A weighted). Even Dyson had to do some redesign to meet the new limit for noise in Europe.  I never considered the noise to be an issue when I had my Oreck, but then again, I treat all vacuums as loud appliances anyway.
