I am asking someone who lives in Nebraska to do me a huge favor. I will pay you for it too. I am just so upset right now. I haven no idea why some people are just so rude.
Story: I discovered that people sell vacuum cleaners on craigslist. So I was searching craigslist. And I found a really rare Eureka Vacuum, in excellent condition. It looks almost new, but it's not. So I called this lady who lives in Omaha, and she told me she still has it. This was about 2 days ago when I first called. So I called her, and she was willing to sell me that Eureka, and ship it to me even to Texas. So she texted me pictures, and I said I would take it. I was so happy and glad, because I found something so rare. She then told me to call her at 10 AM today, which is 11 AM in Omaha.
I called today. First time, 3 rings, she declines the call. Second time, 5 rings, I thought she just silenced her phone. I text her telling me to call back. She never does. Then I call a few hours later, 8 rings, then some guy says to leave a message. So I do. Still no call back. Then, I looked at the ad, and she changed the price, put the model number, and all information.
How rude was that. If she did not want to sell it to me, she should have told me over the phone. She said she was willing to ship it, but now, she changes her mind.
Bottom line is, I really want it. I know I sound desperate asking on here. Like I said, I will pay you. This will probably be the last attempt to buy it. If anyone lives near Omaha or in Omaha, let me know. Like I said, I will pay you. All I would ask is that you go to the house to pick it up. I will pay you back including shipping.
Vacuums on craigslist are a lot nicer than on ebay. I just wish El Paso people had vintage vacuums, but no one else does in El Paso except me. And not to mention, not overpriced either.
