Thank you Dan, I am truly happy with the Out come, I am currently busy with the z32 USA made machine. Som eof the machines vynal is really badly damaged and I am batteling to find some that is thin enough like the type on the machine.


The look on the shop assistance faces when I say its for a vacuum cleaner is priceless, although that all changed this week, after the National Geo graphic episode a National magazine did a two page article on my collection so now i walk in to a shop and that say, "NO Way dude your that dude from with the Hoovers, Cool man" I dont know about been called Dude by some one only a 6 or so  years older than my eldest son

The Volta is similar to the Electrolux 64, whats the model number please?

Nice Job!! The 1230 looks great.

The Volta I may be able to shed a bit of light on. According to the sheet below Electrolux England made the Challenge model U137 in 1965. It appears to be the same body design and the colours were Light grey with maroon ends same as this Volta. I would imagine they were made at about the same time. The Challenge for the domestic market and the Volta for Export.
