I Got a Dirt Devil Broom Vac ! 1990's One

Hi, I just bought a Dirt Devil Broom Vac off of Ebay for about 55 Bucks, and It seems to be in decent shape. But it makes a Bad High Pitched motor Noise, I want to Fix it, does anyone have any Suggestions ?

does it have the adjustable handle and the cloth bag with a paper liner? I had too put a new fan in one once. the local shop wanted too sell me a generic fan....I could see the fan wasen't going too give the factory air flow. there motors are a little bit bigger then the dirt devil hand vacs....

Yes, it is the one with the bag, When I shut it off, the Brushroll makes nasty noises too.

I think that the motor and the brush roll have a bronze bushing.....as too a sealed ball bearing that is better quality. I bought a after market brushroll for my vac that had a extra row of bristles and it cleaned the rug a bit better plus I put a small weight on the top. the motors aren't too expensive, simple wires going too a on/off switch and the power cord. I have put motors in a few of my commerical grade vacs...because they make me money besides looking good in the collection..good luck..
