Hi Jon,
Congratulations and so happy you got your two new Dyson vacuums and get to use them now. Thank you for the kind comments and I appreciate your replies too. Those Dyson tools shown in the picture are only PART of my collection.. I have another large bin full of one of every attachment tool NIB, never used for my collection and my Black Dyson Tool Bag is full along with one small bin full of tools.

(Hello.. my name is Patrick and I am a Dyson-Aholic!) Oh and Jon.. I’m VERY happy that you are Giddy.. I am too with every vacuum I add to my now 250 vacuums collection. It is fun and don’t ever worry about being new or anything like that here on vacuumland. Almost everyone here has been very patient with me and welcomed me as a newbie not too long ago and I haven’t had anyone complain about my “giddy” posts.. I figure if they get tired of me they don’t have to read my threads... but I do try to make it interesting for as many people as I can.. but it’s lots of Fun here! As far as the 30 minutes.. I just gave up and paid the $12 bucks for the premium upgraded account so for a year I can post as often without time constraints. It’s well worth it too as you get to see which threads you have read already and the ones updated are marked and so are the brand new threads.. it’s very well planned out and I enjoy this website better after the upgrade.. and how inexpensive too.
So my Dyson Big Ball Animal 2 and my Small Ball Multi Floor (pictured in my previous post here) are in mint condition because I have only used them about two times. I was going to just use them, but then with Dyson stopping further development of corded uprights, I decided to keep these two as Collectibles ONLY for my own fun and collection.. it’s not like they will stop manufacturing the same current uprights. I also thought, maybe if we are lucky, USA consumers will get one more Upright that “Maybe” was designed and developed but NOT yet released for sale, before Sir James stopped development?? Maybe, but who knows for sure. SO glad Dyson sent you the Adaptor, I like using all the tools and my favorites, they don’t (to my knowledge) yet make them for the new Dyson that have this red quick tool release. The Reach Under Tool and the Flat Out Floor Tool. I’ve only seen them with the previous connectors, but I can only search for Cinetic Canister (Cylinder) tools to find out, so I may be wrong.
Hi Mike811,
I totally agree and wish the brushroll head of the US Animal 2 had the UK’s suction slide adjustment! It REALLY should have been fit with some kind of suction control as like you mentioned it has the Whopping 270 Air Watts (see pic from Dyson website) and it wants to dig down into plush carpet, making it almost impossible to push. But you are right.. you should SEE the fantastic rug agitation and this Dyson is the very best Dyson I have at picking up pet hair. Kermit can shed all he wants and it gobbles it all up, especially with the high Air Watts, the Tangle Free Turbine whisks every pet hair away with ease.
Thanks Matt for pointing out the Cordless V8 and V10 Tools don’t fit the New Red Connector Tools, sold with uprights and canisters. The diameter is different, and I’d forgotten until you mentioned it. Thanks.
Hi Mike.. “My mistake. I meant to say the V10 and V8 tools are the same

”
it’s NOT like you to make a mistake!

but it’s ok, we will let it slide this time. hehe Joking my friend! Hugs!
Thanks guys and again.. Congratulations Jon! How many times have you emptied the bin so far???
Patrick
