I found this dyson dc01 on a skip but the rating sticker say's it was made in 2004

the dyson dc07 would have been out by then and the dyson dc04 coming to the end of production too

p.s the motor work fine on this

do you think it was made in 2004

2004

There is no way this was made in 2004, by then, all Dyson's would have been Malaysian made, and not British. The 04 on the rating plate is not the year.

On the subject, I myself will soon be getting a Dyson from 2004, I bet you can't guess what it is!

That's not the date, as Jacon mentions lol. It's some kind of code. Anyways this a later DC01 cs of the logos, bin insert , clear hose etc so it had nodate/ I am guessing it is either a 1999 or a 2000 DC01

I thought 1999 but never had one like this before

so thanks guy's

what do you think of it not bad for free hay?

OK

Not bad for free. I wouldn't turn one up if it was for free. If you were planning on getting a new Dyson and there was a trade in offer on, you could just take along one you got for free that someone was throwing away!

Yes good idea! I once had an Irish DC01, imported from Ireland. Bought it from a carboot sale for £5 and got a free bissell easy vac with it and has NO idea whatsver till I got it home! Nice surprise!

I WOULD never trade in a dyson DC01 I like them to much it will work like new when I am done with it wait and see
