I am being silly, but.......

I have a not so good G5 and currently have 2 extension hoses.
Out the back along side my fence I have loads of leaves so I was thinking put a hose on the intake and one on the outlet and get the kirby to sling the leaves over the fence. Putting aside any possible fan damage has anyone ever tried this?

My wife hasn't stopped laughing since I suggested this.

You could ask your neighbour if he wants the leaves.
Spend hours raking them up, and boxing them.
Then tell him the cost of postage.
You'll never hear from him again.
I guess that's your aim?

This is not how to get on with people.
Enjoy the tree. Rake up the leaves. Bin them. And enjoy a friendly relationship with your neighbours.

Blowing

If you are blowing leaves. Nothing leaves are entering the vacuum. Your using it as a leaf blower. If you blew leaves with your g5 in my yard. I'd get my ryobi gas powered backpack leaf blower it has 220 cfm. That is double yours and range of blower would blow away everything. So if you don't want poop shoveled on you don't shovel it on them. That would be funny.

Come on guys do you think I would seriously destroy a working Kirby. Just me thinking out loud and wondering if it would work. As for the neighbours garden I adjoin a wooded area which is where the leaves come from.

I didn't intend to upset members.

I am not sure your plan will work. The diameter of the Kirby hose would not easily accommodate the leaves, unless you had already ground them. If that were the case, just let them stay as compost.
