hy orignial color for a compact ice c9

Heller all
Does any one know the original color for a COMPACT ELECTRA IEC C9 VACUUM ?
I got one o n ebay in a pretty teal bright color not sure if its the right color want to make it as original as p osible
Beacause I got the original power head the compact power brush in red.
so let me know

The C-9

Came first in gold, then in blue. The power nozzle decal matched the machine. When Interstate Engineering launched the blue C-9, they (at the same time) also launched Tri-Star. Tri-Star (in red and polished aluminum with 2 speed motor and matching red decal on power nozzle) was for direct in the home sales, and the Compact (in blue) was sold also in stores like vac shops. Interstate realized very soon that was a bad idea (so did Health-Mor - they launched the Princess line to vac shops about the same time as the blue Compact went into vac shops). Competing against your own door to door salesmen is bad - people will cancel the direct in the home sale, and buy the lesser expensive model from the vac shops. We had that happen all the time with the Princess. People would buy a Filter Queen for $1600, call us the next day, find out a Princess II was only $399, and cancel the Filter Queen sale.

thanks a lot for the info
whne my pay comes in I think ill paint my compact blue or dark turquoise blue should be nice .
Im thinking of a cross between sky blue and dark blue same for the power head post pic when im done

paint the power head too love the gold paint and the filter cap is gold to fiouuuu lots of work to look this good but oh so worth it
