Okay, my Miele was beginning to smell like arse, so it was in need of a bag, and as I haven't bought any since, erm, well I can't remember when I last bought some for it, I decided to use a bag from my collection of bags, and the only one spare that I could find, that I didn't plan to use, was a cheap DoubleMicro bag, so, I cut the bag mount plate up a bit to get it to fit, and holy monkey that thing all of a sudden has balls!!! :S

Oh I see so it has more suction because that bag allows for more airflow correct did it originally have a heap bag? Zach

The bags I was using were before "ElecTruePart" brand Polypropylene bags, so "should" have been HEPA rated, but I don't think they were, but for £3.99 I'm not that bothered, it's just a throwaway item... :)

As for the generic Kirby bag, well, given that it's size means more surface area, then it allows the air to flow through a lot easier (even if a third of it is folded up underneath the bit that's inflating), so it's working more efficiently than it was designed to... :)

Still it's only used on less than savoury jobs, I was just surprised that it was working better than it has done since I got it last year... :P
