Hi VacuumLand users,
I was just wondering how to date Miele vacuums as I got one off eBay and would like to know its age.
Thanks in advance!

The code will be pretty clear printed next to the serial number.
For example "I/98" would be first quarter 1998.
Newer example would be "2001/III" 2001 3rd quarter.

Happy vacuuming!

I'm still not sure so here are some pictures of it. I think it's an older version as it has the older style floor tool dock and hose connector.

Traced your serial number w/ Miele and it was a dead end. Unusual.

Should be from late 90's to early 2000's

Just thought I would clarify here since nobody realized it, that vacuum is a German model. Not sold in USA. It is an import and someone either swapped the motor for an American conversion or just brought it with them when they moved and found out it would not work in USA and sold it as-is.

Notice the voltage on the label is 203v. You will need a step-up voltage transformer to use it on American outlets if the motor has not been converted.
