Hi all.

Not long ago I bought a brand new Sebo Dart. I was wondering if it was recommended to take the vacuum in every year for a service, or if I could do the servicing myself. What would a yearly service entail for a Sebo anyway?

Thanks!

As Sebo's are commercial vacuums designed to be easy to repair and maintain, you can easily service them yourself.

A service would be a replacement brush-roll, new set of filters (for the Dart, it'll be the fleece filter around the body), generally a strip down of the power-head, washing anything that isnt electrical, grease the swivel head if it needs it, pop it all back together and then the job is done.

I've done this with an 8 year old Felix, and it looks and runs the same as it did the day it was bought.
