How long to fill a bag?

Personally I wouldn't fill he bag right up to the top as it puts stress on the motor, and at my house when the bags around half full it loses around half the air flow and suction but but it still got plenty to clean with.

I personally don't like filling bag right to the brim.

I might as well answer the question now ~

When I used to use my Turbopower 1000 as my daily (vacuuming about every 2-3 days) when my hair used to be long,it usually filled up within a week. Now my hair is stupidly very short,it usually takes about 2 weeks.

With my Sebo X1.1 (my new daily driver) I can't say yet as I've only had it just over 3 weeks, but already it's quarter filled but I know I can fit alot more in.

My Kirby Sentria WAS my daily driver (2-3 times a week) and it took about 4 months to fill a Kirby HEPA cloth bag to the Full line (about half way). Kirby bags are huge!

Now my new Royal Everlast 8300 is my daily driver. It also has a huge bag like the Sentria, and we will now see how long it takes to fill a Royal Type B bag.

Plastic slipcovers on sofas and other furniture-those were marketed by the plastics companies and the places that installed those. The upholsry on sofas is fixed and cannot be easily removed except during reapholstering. The covers were esp touted too homes with kids and pets.If the covers weren't installed or vented properly it was like sitting on a "balloon!"Yes,those plastic slipcovers were common in the 50's60's and the plastic could be available in "tinted" colors if desired-to help hide old upholstery. The best covers were made to be removable for cleaning or replacement-or when the pets and kids have left the home.I remember them!!
