Wash a Twin-Chamber filter for a Bagless Hoover Windtunnel?

I put my one into the dishwasher I use for cleaning vacuum cleaner parts, cleans it great every time, just make sure the heat is turned down to about 40deg or warm , you need some heat to get the dirt out but if it gets to hot it will destroy or melt the filter
