Hi,

Does anyone know anything about Hoover's TurboPOWER "black and gold" line of uprights and canisters? The BOL unit in this ensemble is the TurboPOWER 1000 upright, based on the Elite. This ensemble of vacs was sold from around 1995 to 2000. I would like to request pictures, please.

I did see this line in a 1996 J. C. Penney catalog.

The uprights are not to be confused with the British/European TurboPOWER line, for which we briefly had a version on our shores called the Sovereign.

Thank you,

Ben Edge

Was just that.. same machines, different color.

I believe Sears sold them.. but it was also more of a Dealer Exclusive line of products. They continued with a few of the machines up until a few years ago.

They also carried a 2-year warranty instead of a 1-year warranty. That was about the only difference.

I have a brochure somewhere, I'll look to see if I can find it and scan it.
