LOL Yes Wacuum! One of my Uncle's married a lady from Germany, brought her back to the States, (German war bride from WW2) and her accent was VERY strong and English very broken.

She called it a WACUUM CLINKA!

What is my term?

My grandma always calls all vacuums "vacuum sweepers". I usually call vacuuming, "Kirbying", because my grandma and my mom and especially me, love Kirbys. My mother dislikes all other machines, and so does my grandma. I love ALL machines, so it doesn't really matter.

Hoovering is a very British term, but a lot of pet owners of dogs tend to use the phrase too, when out walking and their dogs attack the litter "hoovering up the street."

I rather like to call it to KIRBYLICIOUS the scrumptious, succulent rugs!

 For The Kirby is quite gluttonous; it never leaves a tidbit nor speck...most greedy!
