Hi VacuumLand! Recently I have been searching eBay for older Hoovers from the 80's and 90's. I have come across a Hoover Breathe Easy for about $20. But I noticed that the base near the headlight is all black. I would like to know if the vacuum was manufactured like that or someone painted it. Thanks! - oreckboy

It looks like...

...just the camera angle, but it is possible it was painted over.
