I have heard a lot about the V2 here on VL. When I went into Goodwill this morning, they had one for $8.09. I picked it up just because it has two brushrolls. I have heard these are rare because the dual brushroll design is so problematic. It's a little dirty but otherwise in good shape. Also, is that big filter shaped like a cylinder washable? It smells like roadkill.[this post was last edited: 7/23/2013-10:41]

There're still a few sites that sell these, http://www.vcdiscounter.com/u8120.html and Ultimate Sew and Vac are a couple that I know of. I know they don't manufacture them any more, though. I like the idea of having two brushrolls.

Here's a filter-http://www.vcdiscounter.com/40140201.html. I'm sure there are some that are cheaper than on that site, but I didn't really look very far to find that. It was under the related products on the V2 page. I used to have a self-propelled Windtunnel that used those filters and I didn't really like it. They seem to get to dusty too fast. That one had a little knob on the top of the dirt container that you turn to clean off the filter. Technically they aren't washable, but I do recall reading a thread here on VL where a couple people mentioned cleaning them off.

Well I washed the heck out of that filter with Dawn. I dried it out for 24 hours, put it back in, and saved 16 dollars!
