I remember one of these when I was on vacation when I was like five and I loved it. I remembered it being small and black. I know it was a Hoover or an Eureka. I have a Hoover model 63 willing to trade for this mystery vacuum, or any other offers. I'de prefer this vacuum be new in box. I will pay for it if you don't want to trade. Here are some pic.s of what I think it was.

Personally, I would never trade the amazing Hoover model 63 for a 20 year old Eureka Bravo or Hoover Elite. Both are machines made at one of the lowest points in quality - mass produced for Wal-Mart and K-Mart to sell cheap. The Kirby salesmen would trade them in constantly, and we threw all of them away. Even then, they were not worth rebuilding and selling - that's how unreliable they were. Keep the 63, and go to a local vac shop - tell them the next one they get from a trade-in you'll give them $10 for it. They'd rather get $10 than throw it away and get nothing.

Keep the Hoover 63 - it's a very good example of high quality. And one of Hoover's best cleaning machines ever.
