I was very surprised that considering the size of the hose the entry point is very think, it looks like a cheap bit of B&Q PVC piping.

Now a well needed bath, I think I could hear the machine saying thank you as I rinsed the parts after the bath.

When a machine is in a very sorry state like this I cant just let it sit there, I like knowing that it is fully cleaned when I use it after refurb.

Now to start the polish and re assemble.

Chassis attached as well as the newly oiled/greased brush roll bearings and a brand new belt.

Newly washed filter, I was very surprised at just how much dirt this can hold, it now looks virtually brand new.

Here it is all fully assembled, as you can see its next to PurePower which this machine was heavily based on.

After its first initial test run I am pleased to report that everything works the way it should, here is what I got from my landing carpet.

A front view after refurb all it needs now is a good wax.

Sowing the various hoover propaganda used on the body to advertise the features, as well as displaying the Hoover branding name all down the side.
