I am about halfway through disassembly needing to access the motor compartment where there is a clump of lint. I cannot find a way to remove the back cover from the frame structure. That three piece assembly is like a sandwich...the bag cover is the front, frame in the middle and back cover. I have seen a parts list schematic but cannot find a service manual.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks "silent jon". I'll give it a try and post back. I want to see how the clump of lint got in there to begin with. The customer didn't have the vaguest idea of how the vac got stopped up.

Repair case is closed awaiting search for two wands.

Someone ran the vac without making sure the bag was firmly over the discharge tube. It is back together and runs like new. Hoover outdid themselves with design for the tool storage. Now If I can find the wands it will be complete and ready to sell.
