Hoover Twin Chamber Dirt Lid Seal

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I posted on Vacuumland and I have this Hoover Twin Chamber U5290-900 (Elite style) from 2002. It's a really nice vacuum and also a nice piece of Hoover history too. I brought it from eBay almost a year already and it now has a slight issue where part of the dirt lid seal is disintegrated a bit. Unfortunately I can't find a replacement lid but maybe there's a really good quality gasket seal I can use? Thanks
