The first two measurements were easy to get, the last one (CFM at the nozzle) required me to build an airflow box. I think this pic should easily illustrate where and by how much CFM is lost in this machine. I think this is excellent performance from a sub $100 cleaner, easily besting many other uprights costing 5 times its price.
From the base of the machine to the nozzle, there is a loss of 114-80 = 34 CFM. This represents about a 30% loss from the bypass motor. Of course as the bag fills, the airflow will drop as well.
Last note: the rug plate opening is very large, nearly Kirby sized at about 32 square inches and the CFM density is good but not great, about 2.5 CFM/Sq. In. If you ever wondered if this cheapie (I've seen it for $72 new on Amazon) is capable of deep cleaning, it actually is.
I bought this machine in 2012 to replace a 2004 bag less Dirt Devil and I was completely blown away by its ability to clean medium pile carpet. Adding a Crucial HEPA bag increased the airflow even more, especially when the bag nears the full line.
