Hi fellow collectors, I came across this Hoover today. It seemed to overheat and shut down. On closer inspection, I could see that the motor muffler had disintegrated and chucks of it was blowing around the motor. I checked online for a replacement, but it is no longer available. I would like to fashion one, but it would be better to have a diagram/pattern to use. I did download a schematic, showing the part, but of course it is in a 3 dimentional view. I have some foam and will try to fashion one.
If anyone has a donor, can send a picture (with a ruler next to it), or at least a 1 dimenional pattern, please let me know.
