I have a gray hoover spirit with Quadraflex powermatic beater bar for sale if anyone is interested.

It has been in the box it was sent in for about two years now. All it would need is a new filter at the top as when you turn it on black bits seem to come out of the vent at the top.

The only piece it did not come with was the crevice tool but all others are there. It is the model with no automatic cord rewind. Last time I used it the cleaner did a fantastic job. I will be moving soon and have no room for it and do not wish to consign it to the attic to rot for years to come. It belongs in a collection.

As it is already boxed I can carry it to the post office to be weighed to find out the costs.

Is it safe to assume this is 220 volt?

Do you have a picture?

I'm guessing the British version of the Spirit is different in design compared to U.S. versions.

Hi.

I should have mentioned that it is 110v as it came from the U.S. Unfortunately I don't have a camera and I am not technology minded and would not know how to upload photos if I did.

Exactly like this but in gray and non retractable cord. I got this from a completed ebay listing so you could get an idea of what it is like.

This had international shipping at $53.52 to the UK so safe to assume mine would be around that to ship back.

I'm interested. Never seen a Spirit in Gray with Quad.

The bits that shot out....

That happen to the red Encore (no power nozzle). When I opened it up, I found that there was a piece of dense black foam covering the motor I guess for sound muffling. I carefully removed the foam as it was very brittle, cut a piece of matching material, and replaced it.

Worked out perfectly. I also had to replace the exhaust foam as it too, had failed.
