Hoover S bags

Hi Guys!, I'm targeting people living in the Toronto area. Making a long story short, my son who lives and work and studies here in Montevideo, Uruguay once or twice a year is sent to Toronto to develop some projects in Canada. This year he's traveling the 4th. of August to Toronto, SO as I've given him as a present a Hoover Futura vacuum cleaner in mint condition, we can't find disposable bags here. I'm asking information as to where and how he can buy a little stock of S bags. Any information you can give is much appreciated. Gus from Montevideo.

Your best bet is the big Home Depot near Wilson and Dufferin Street north of the big Fairview Mall. I've been able to get most models of Genuine Hoover Bags there. Not far away on Wilson Avenue is AAA Vacuum which has a large variety of Hoover bags. If they don't have Style S, they can order it for your son. You might also try York Appliances on Avenue Road just south of Wilson. All three locations are within a half hour drive of each other!!! Good luck!

Thank you Brian, your information is very useful and thorough. I don't know where he's going to live, but all the previous times he was always given a flat in downtown, so I assume this time is going to be the same thing. It's a pleasure to belong to a group of people like this. Hugs Gus

You are very welcome Gus! If he won't have a car, he can take the subway from downtown to the Wilson subway station. From there he can actually walk to the Home Depot or transfer to buses going in either direction along Wilson Avenue. He should take a westbound bus to get to AAA Vacuum, or an eastbound bus to get to Avenue Road. He can check the web for phone numbers for all 3 locations and they can help him get there by subway and bus.

Thank you again, Brian. Your instructions to get to the place are very good. I'm sure he'll be able to get there, he's already used to go around in the city, he likes it and (I'm not sure) but I think this is the fourth or fifth time he goes. But he's not fond of vacuums like we are so he knows nothing about them. Hugs Gus.

Hallo Brian, after all these days my son Farid, finally came back from his work trip to Toronto. He rented a bicycle (he's always trying to do some sort of exercise)and he went to the Home Depot on Wilson and Dufferin. Those bags are rather expensive but he could buy Hepa S bags so I think is worth the money he spent. Thank you again and I appreciate your help. Gus

Just so you & your son Farid know, the best place to get genuine Hoover S HEPA bags is Future Shop. They sell a 2-pack for $5.97....you certainly can't beat that price for HEPA bags!

Rob, the Future Shops in Toronto stopped selling Hoover products several years ago. You can only get Dyson, Miele and LG vacs and bags now. Maybe it's different at your stores in Orillia, not sure.
