.. thank you for the heads up Robert.  I am aware of the Sale Of Goods Act and I'm definately adamant that I deserve a refund in a sort of way.


 


I unfortunately paid by cash so it gets worse and worse, I still have the packaging and the box, and have a foggy idea of where the receipt is, I bought some sheet's also and I think I know where the receipt is.


 


Thank's for the advice, quite a humerous but crafty way of getting the cleaner returned, so will give that a consider if nothing else come's of it...

Some vac shops take the warranty cleaners, repair them, and give them away, or sell them, trade them, whatever. That cleaner could end up in another person's home,, unbeknownst to them that it was , at one time, a faulty machine.

I agree with you John. I think Argos have an outlet store on eBay UK which they sell refurbished cleaners, but sometimes you see on eBay Job Lots of returned vacuum's from Argos, normally the cheaper vacuums.
