Hoover Purepower 1800W cuts out/overheats after using it for a few rooms. I have checked the filters and the exhaust filter. Is there anything else I can check or do about this?

Thanks

Bag might be clogging with fine dust depriving the motor of air. My Lux 1R D820 does this too. Bag isn't full. Filters and bag chamber are clean. Have to shake the bag out and let the machine sit 20 minutes to cool down. Some of my Japanese vacuums even have a built in bag shaker that operates off a plunger that is shaken by bumps on the cord reel. Every time you pull out or retract the cord the shaker shakes the bag.
