Hello to all Hoover PortaPower users.
Do you prefer using the cloth bag or the paper bag/adapter combo and why?

I found one being thrown away with the cloth bag. I have the Type N paper bags, but not the adapter/rubber ring that allows the use of the paper bags.

Is it worth it for me to invest in the adapter and switch over to paper bags, or should I just stick with the cloth shakeout bag?

All opinions and advice is welcome!

Have both options . . .

I have both options. For normal cleaning around the house, I prefer the cloth bag. IMHO, I think the cloth bag allows for more air flow. Besides that, I can shake out the bag after one or two cleanings and have a clean bag for the next use. I bought the N paper bags and adapter as a second choice for picking up any kind of particles that might damage the cloth bag or be difficult to clean out. It's more expensive to keep buying paper bags, so I use the cloth bag most often.

My feeling is that the paper bag might retain finer dust that the cloth bag might allow to pass through.
SO, I'm gonna order the adapter/rubber ring that allows the use of the paper bags.
It's only 8 bucks and free shipping, so no big deal to give it a whirl.
