Hoover plastic Convertible

Did everyone see the U4335 green plastic base Convertible on ebay?  NO cord...hefty price.


 I have 2 of that model WITH the light. I thought it  would be fun to have the 2.. a set, if you will. But......................  looks like it was a rescue.

This the one? Looks in good shape. Price might be $10-$20 too high IMO. But it's not "that" bad. I've seen worse for more.

I saw another plastic based convertible on eBay with the rare in the title. My mother had that model when I was born she got it as a wedding present in 1983. Not rare at all! I’ve had at least two of them and currently own one in good condition. I gave one to Jon Durfor at the convention last year. So don’t tell me they’re rare. It’s the yellowish beige one with the type A bag and brown striped outer bag. The person who posted it doesn’t know anything about Hoover or is trying to up the price. I just rolled my eyes when I saw it last week.

My aunt bought one of those at the famed

Globe Store....a division of John Wanamaker.


  It sold for $84.00 on sale plus tools.  I have one, also.


It was very popular...VERY.I could find just how many were produced. I'll ask Tom, Anderson, of course. He'd know.
