hoover model 700

the hoover 700 is one of my all time dream machines!!! anyone have one they would like to sell??? i love the high gleam shine they have when polished.

if it does not have original bag- no problem. they are rare anyhow.

either here in the U.K or USA.

would pay a good price for a nice example.

I HAVE A REPLACEMENT CORD AND HOPEFULLY THE BAG WILL AT LEAST BE BLACK. IF NOT I CAN ADVERTISE HERE IN SUPERMARKET.

I USED TO HAVE THE ELECTRIC MUSEUM IN CHRISTCHURCH AT MY DISPOSAL FOR ANY AND ALL PARTS I EVER NEEDED. THE LOFT WAS FULL OF EVERY CLEANER YOU COULD IMAGINE AS WELL AS A NEAR MINT HOOVER 160 CLEANING TOOL SET. AND MANY OTHERS.

I HOPE TO TALK MORE WITH THE SELLER TO GET AN ACURATE DESCRIPTION.

i won the 700 on ebay. seller will post a few pics to me tomorrow. it sounds like it is in really good shape after talking with him. cant wait for it to arrive.

I absolutely love those model 700 Hoovers! I have one myself in amazing condition and it runs perfectly! I actually keep it in my office and use it to clean it from time to time. The puzzled/surprised looks on people's faces when I go to use something that old is priceless!

It looks like you got a great deal on your machine and I hope it serves you well! Congrats again!

the seller said he would try to send me a few shots of the hoover tonight. he said the top of the handle has a rubber cover on it. leads me to wonder is it a 700 or a 725??

i dont know of the 700 having anything but the metal pistol grip. i should have asked if there was an orange band going around the motor. or maybe the handles for the U.K market were rubber coated due to the higher voltage here. i am not sure.

700 or 725 i would be happy with either. i will have to search for a spare tool set on here at some point. gary.

i had a 700 manual once. in fact it was the very first item i bought off ebay after joining. i shall get another sometime.
