Hey all,
I've just aquired a Hoover Model 29. I don't have alot of really vintage vacs, but this one was only $10. It's in overall good shape. The cord is brittle and needs replaced, but otherwise it's ok.
My question is concerning the brushroll. There's others here who have more experience with this model than me. The brushroll turns fine but it's very rusty and the bristles are very worn. They appear to be replaceable brush strips. I could probably salvage the brushroll if I could get replacement strips. If not, will a Convertible brushroll fit? If not, are there any other Hoover (or other make) brushrolls that would be a good substitute?
Thanks!
Tim J.
