Obtained a Hoover Junior U1012 from Ebay and have serviced it and works great.Even got the box with the tools in and the instruction manual too !The only thing missing from it is the Hoover badge on the front and was wondering if these can be obtained separetly or would have to get the front cover complete with the badge on ?

Hi

Hi, Yes they was sold seprate but not any more. So unless you can find collector/vac shop that has one lying around your best bet is finding a front cover with one already on off another Junior.

Hope this helps

James:o)

P.S where in the UK are you?

Thanks for the info. Will have to keep looking around for the said roundel and hope to find one .Presently living in Liverpool

Found another gem of a Junior on Ebay that i have just purchased .A 1334A with the metal motor body to go with a 1334E similar to the one that my gran used to have .As you may have guessed i am facinated by hoover Juniors of all types and ages!

Welcome Gary

Well you picked a good model to be interested in, as it was one of the most popular cleaners (if not the most popular) and there are still loads of them about on ebay including a not bad looking 370 and from 40 years later a couple of 1036s which look in good order.

Hoover Junior Logo

I might have an old Hoover junior logo somewhere, think in the loft. The only thing is, its red, designed for the 1354a, dirtsearcher.

Will see if I can find it.
