Mvacs very kindly sold me this after obtaining it through means unknown s!

The switch is broken, but she puurs like new with the switch removed and a bridge wire put in place!

Will give it the works in time, however what does the red lettering mean? My other 229, and most others I see have white lettering! Ive been told the bag is a genuine replacement too, which whilst not as good as the lriginal is the next best thing!

The Red Lettering

The red lettering on the fan cover on these 119 models were when King George was alive .After his death the lettering was changed to gold .I have the same model with the red lettering ,gold lettering ones too and an unusual one which appears to have green lettering (With Appointment to King George).I wondered whether the Red lettering had faded in the sun after all these years but it doesnt appear to done

They are great compact cleaners too and use little power too, only 225 watts. We have one at our static caravan which cleans the carpet there great and easily stores away in the boiler cupboard
