Hoover Iron Model P3003

Snagged this Hoover brand iron today from a garage sale & thought the folks here might think its as neat as I do!

I haven't been able to find anything about the exact model number (P3003), but I admittedly haven't dug in too deep.

It seems possibly identical to Model 4001, which pops up in a few listings like the one linked to this post

Interestingly enough, the model number on the 4001 does not have the "P" in front of it like the P3003

I'm in one of the few units in my building where the original 1930's hardwood floors were kept well enough to be spared from a bad remodel in the 90s. I try to keep up the tradition of caring for them well, lol.

Nice find! I take it these were made by Hoover themselves before the Knapp Monarch acquisition in the late 1960s.
