Good that you have two Freedom's, they are lovely looking cleaners. I remember when they first came out in the 70's. A neighbour had one in green with the metal poles and the flip over floor tool.

"I've been without a car for a year now. I miss it dreadfully, although not a necessity I miss the convenience." I know what you mean Paul. Our car has been off the road since November last year as we can't afford the work needing done for the MOT and it is a massive hindrance not having transport.
What makes it worse is the fact that the car actually drives fine and could still be in daily use, but because it has corrosion it doesn't pass VOSA standards.
j murrey i tired of walkin then goin shoppin every fortnight doin a shop and struggin back with 6 bags also? iam tired of waitin around for the bus s . iam doin a course at the moment for nvq 1 n2 got on a bus to nottingham city and a young lad got on and relief himself at the back of the bus i was imprest so its time for me to get a car
I spent a huge chunk of my working week on the bus, I work city wide, thankfully my work covers the cost of my travel and I never used the car for work as it was not practical. A lot of area's in Edinburgh have residents "permit holder" parking only. I live 2 minutes walk from Aldi and Sainsburys' and I tend to shop every day.
Jamie...I had to scrap my car as I couldn't afford to get the bodywork sorted out, the engine was fine, very annoying.
i was not imprest him p..ing at the back of the bus near were i was sitting. the div. was laffin like it was funny. i just look at the driver in disgust when i got off
have no respect, I am a youth worker and feel sorry for teenagers today, they get a bad reputation due to the actions of a few. Having said that I have worked with older people who behave disgracefully.
ANYWAY.....back to vacuums as from what I can gather each thread has a limited space, once that is full it moves to the archives where people can no longer comment.

Well, no, Paul.
The brilliance of Robert's coding lies in the extraordinary flexibility of the Forums.
There is no limit on thread length or posts. Every time a new post is made the thread moves to the top of the list. The list has a 100 thread capacity.
Only as no more posts are made does the thread shift toward the bottom of the list and when that is reached the thread drops off the bottom to archives.
I have to agree with Dave there (oh, there I go again!) as I don't believe "kids have no respect".
Yes, SOME kids don't, but lets not tarnish all kids with the same brush.
There are plenty kids who do have respect and by saying they don't will just make the "good ones" feel like there is no point in acting mature and being responsible since nobody will believe them anyway.
