After doing this video it made me wonder how many different variants there really were of the Hoover Elite. These machines are so cheap and disposable back in the day it's hard to think about anybody saving one.

So my question to vacuumland is does anybody have different Hoover Elites lined up like they do Hoover Convertibles?

Here's Hesco's list of Hoover USA Elite model numbers:

Anyway, I agree Elites were not the best from Hoover. I still see quite a few in the wild. So, the survival rate seems to be pretty good. I personally like them and have a few in my collection. It's mainly due to the fact that I'm 37 and these were popular in the 90s and early 2000s. I wonder if the $39.00 bagless Bissell from Walmart will be sought after in 20 years.

I like Elites, they're not my favorite to use even though there's an Elite that is my all time favorite Hoover vacuum. But they work. I think ever since Maytag got rid of the PowerMax/Concept line, that was when Hoover started to go downhill.
