A family friend's brother is moving to assisted care.  I was asked to 'go through some things' to see if there was anything I'd like.   They planned on me having the vacuum.  And, there it was:  model 1170, power drive in taupe, with tools.  A few of the attachments are missing.  But, they might show up before the movers come.  It's nice to add another model to the rest.  Pics  forthcoming.

though I love my 1178...

DAM's never really caught my eye. say I went to a mini meet and saw a lineup of DAM's...I would marvel at them but never would be interested to buy or look up any on eBay. If I see MWards Or JCP badged DAM's, now were talking. I would ask to buy in a heartbeat if it was the right price.

Yep!

I remember the first time seeing your staircase all festive with Hoovers lining the walls from top to bottom and of course garland weaving through the banister since it was Christmas! I think you had white mini-lights also running up the staircase to showcase said vacuums. Festive it was. Billy

Thanks, Billy

You have a great eye. Yes, "that staircase" is the perfect place to spotlight almost anything.  If you ever saw it before it was totally restored.  there are some pics of it somewhere.

And, like shorts, cookies, tea, etc,  because of the ribbing, I just go farther...because I can.

WE can't help that some people have no taste, no class, no manners, or, are just plain stupid.  Not our concern.

So.......  Fall decor,  Halloween decor,  Hoover decor. .. It's all good.

I'll have to start arranging some cleaners, etc.   The staircase was even shown on the HBO special that covered The VCCC  convention.

 yay!
