Hey there!
I mechanically re-furbished this vacuum recently and it works fine. Every part inside and out got a THOROUGH cleaning and the hood was buffed (still has some deep scuffs which will never come off). I think this was the industrial version of the Convertible, so they likely had a much lower survival rate but don't quote me on that. I really need to sell this, I have too much stuff!
The main issue with this is the outer bag. I tried to save it, patch it, and make it look decent, but it is far beyond my skills and needs the help of a professional, maybe even replaced. I have had to make patches on the bottom, reconstruct the strip for the male-end of the snaps, and some of the snaps themselves are gone and I can't figure out how to get them back in here. I know this probably is worth more than my asking price but condition is everything. It has a great patina to it but that bag is the only thing really wrong with this. Oh, and there is a plastic piece behind the belt cover that needs to be replaced but I couldn't find another one.
