Hoover Convertible U4039 For Sale

Hey guys n gals.... up for grabs is this beautiful orange mid-1970s Hoover convertible model U4039. This vacuum is in great shape for its age metal based convertible aluminum metal fan ranger style hood with working headlight all original parts orange and black hounds tooth outer bag. Motor sounds good and runs smoothly as those older metal based convertibles should . Instead of using Hoover type C bag I have modified a sanitaire f&g bag cut off about 3 inches from the bottom rolled it up and hot glued it to fit inside the narrow Hoover outer bag. Seems to work great I will enclose extra sanitaire bags for you to do your own modification or if you wish you may use genuine Hoover C bags vacuum also comes with new Hoover belt installed but also included will be two extra your eureka RD belts just due to the fact the Hoover 48 belts snap too easily... brush roll is in great shape could stand a service job but end caps are hard to remove. But still turns freely. This model seems to be a rare one haven’t seen too many of those around and in this good condition.

I’m interested on your Convertible U4039 because I think this Ranger style Hoover is rare because it has a rear tool conversion just like most of the UK Ranger Hoover.
