I have a question, my Hoover`s top sleeve bearing after a couple minutes of use gets so hot I could could fully cook raw meat on it... I used 3-in-1, blue bottle oil and took care of that. Any ideas on why my Hoover`s top sleeve bearing is getting so hot? Plus the armature moves up and down slightly. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

"Do not lunricate"

No it says no where on there to not lubricate. The motor was running hot before I even touched the sleeve bearing with oil. Plus the sleeve bearing was beyond dry too. Go yo my YouTube channel TheVacuumGuy and listen to it in the first video compared to my latest video of it. the oil did help some but the motor still gets hot to the point where it can and will burn you if you leave your hand on there for more than 5 sec straight after a couple minutes of running it. The armature when you pull on the belt pulley moves ever so slightly up and down. maybe a bad lower motor ball bearing?
